Sup guys, I got a couple nice kills the past few days, to my surprise! These are two separate kills by the way. With the M3, I was on the highway, and a new convertible M3 pulls up next to me, and his passenger asks if I want to race, so I give him the nod. We went from 80-120mph or so, the whole time I kept him back by a fender, I was in shock. I guess maybe since its a vert, not sure if it was auto or not though. My other kill, I was at the gas station, and some kid pulls in in an Audi, with no badges, letting off his BOV. my friend asks him if he wants to run, he agrees. He asks if Im sure, I say yea why not, he goes "well, this is an S4, I don't think you'll run this." so I tell him fuck it, lets just do it for fun, and see. We start off in 2nd, he is half a car ahead of me before we even begin, and he takes off lol. So I gun it from 2nd and immediately pull to his fender, and continue pulling until he is at mine. I hear him shift, and he starts pullin a couple inches but still cant get even with me, then I shift to 4th, up to 120 or so, and I leave him by atleast half a car. My two friends and I were both like, wtf just happened, that was surprising! Anyway, my mods are turbo-back exh., intake filter, MBC, BOV, FMIC, int. piping, boost is at 12-13, with the occasional spike.

on a t25 i call BS... even on a 14b or 16g 13psi will keep up with a 2001 s4 if the driver isnt too good, but an m3 will pull u auto or not... even if he started in 6th...

Yeah, im on a 16g at 15psi and I got pulled by almost 2 cars by an 05 M3 SMG, they are now joke.....

I raced a modded S4 V8 05 exhaust, chip/flash, intake and my gst had 280 whp/300w torque... we were neck and neck to like 140, I know its a different car but the v8 audi stock runs pretty close to the e46 m3, so no way on the t25 did u pull on a m3. Even if he was in 6 gear, a flat bmw power curve would totally be your demise right there 330 horses to the crank is a good 100 over what you have, and your power curve peaks hp at 5500...

Keep in mind he has a 95, which is a bit lighter than a 99 GST.


I trapped 97mph and ran a 14.5 when all I had was an intake.


The 2001 S4 is good for low 14s bone stock, and you know the AWD is bothering it from a roll.


The vert M3 and the SMG are two different monsters


The vert is good for high 13s at 104mph or so....And thats with a manual.


The SMG traps 106mph, easily a high 12 second car.

Good kills, I've raped M3's with an evoIII16G w/full supporting mods equiped FWD. I've even beat a supercharged E46 at only 15psi, so it can be done.

I too have beaten an M3, but it wasn't on the freeway, we went at it on some twisties and he had no chance, and granted i'm AWD so i can accelerate much quicker. But i do agree that a regular M3 can be beaten with some decent supporting mods and tuning if necessary. Brandon [VFRacing]

Yea it's not BS...you have to take into consideration, the vert M3 is heavier, plus he had a passenger, and it was probably auto, who knows. I had two people with me for the S4 race though. S4 is AWD and we went from a roll..., they run mid-high 13's, so I really don't see what's so hard to believe...?

the turbo s4's run at best a high 13. Some people say mid 13's

but they'll never see that. The s4 and normal WRX are pretty close in performance thru the 1/4.

the wrx is lighter and gets a better 1/8th mile time and 0-60 time. But after that the S4 pulls. The s4 and wrx tend to cross the line in nearly the same amount of time. The big difference is that s4 is trapping 5-6mph higher.
