I want to swap out my ESI engine with a Turbo charged talon engine. What is a good website to buy a complete swap from? any help would be appreciated.

talk to mavisky and he'll tell you what's needed to do a "proper" swap...although i dont' think he recommends it to anyone anymore
well i was hoping for a website that sold the replacement engines
junkyard is the way to go
how much should i pay for a turbo charged engine from a junkyard??
500 or so i got mine for 250

you'll need more than just the motor
thats the thing...i dont know everything i would need to do the complete swap

which is why i posted post #2 in the first place
i dont know who that is, and you said you dont think he recommends things anymore
all i really want is to turbo my car..is a swap easier or just adding a turbo kit..i have a 95 talon esi....bone stock
oops you ahve a 95....better off selling it and getting one turbo already
are you kidding...my car has 60,000 original one owner miles...this engine is still a baby..why buy an abused turbo car when i can just turbo this baby?
because you're baby isn't going to last once you do that
Whys that? Youve never heard of a reliable turbo car? With time patience and knowledge you can build a beast for when its time to put foot to ass(or gas in a matter of speaking) and a reliable daily driver. Ive got a friend with a turbo integra thats reliable ass hell he drives everyday, and runs 12s on the track in street tires.

Right you have to build the beast with the right components and it'll last a long time, if you just plan on slapping on a turbo on a stock esi engine it simply wont last assuming you beat on it daily.

then pull the motor out and go at it with internals or go to the 2gnt forums, the only "real" answer you'll get here is dont' bother and sell it for one that's turbo
