This afternoon i was installing my new walbro and while i was trying to break the fittings loose i fractured the fuel line(the one on the pump assembly). apparently it was twisting while i was wrenching. Can i seal the line with something like JB Weld or do i have to replace the whole pump assembly?

I've got the same problem. Only real way to fix it is to have a rad shop weld a line back in there. But if you have a 1G FWD then the wiring connector is too close and so it can't be welded without melting that. I have no idea if the AWDs are the same.

This assumes you broke it pretty much at the face plate. If it broke a little further out take it to a rad shop and see if they can do anything with it.

A new assembly is $229 US from Tallahassee with the discount which includes a new pump... ya pissed me off too. So I sourced one at a wreckers and will be putting it in tomorrow.

Did you get it fixed ?

I tried to get that Vfaq added to Vfaq.com, but they never posted it.
