iIdle control motor?
idle issue..not surge
This may be a tuning issue. When i start the car it idles low...600rpm, but after it gets hot it will idle high...1600rpm
I don't have a logger to check my trims. I will be borrowing one hopefully in the next couple days.
To my knowledge cars run rich at start-up and idle gigh, then will lean out and idle properly. Mine is not..any ideas?

FIAV. It is what controls the idle speed at cold startup and then lowers it. It is actually a wax pellet that is warmed by the coolant lines that run through the throttle body.
-Diagnose the ISC
-Check for boost leaks
If it is neither of the above I would bet on the FIAV.
