So my 1G won’t start there’s this black box that clicks. But then I later realized that the red and white ignition wire is not hooked up to anything. I need help finding where this ignition wire goes too.
Does the box click when the key is turned to IGN/RUN position or only in START position? If it click with the KOEO then it is receiving the IGN SW input (black/white) wire from the IGN SW.
If that is the case then the box would then send out the IGN voltage on that white IGN wire you are holding to MPI, IGN coil, and cluster (black/white wire).
if this is a 91-94 you could go to the ign coil and check for voltage on the black/white wire with the KOEO. That should have voltage during KOEO (normal operation)
