So my lifters were quiet. Always were. however after I installed my cams, they were instantly noisy. It takes a LOT of driving before they quiet down and sometimes they don't.
Would it make since for them to finally start "talking" now? Or is this just some big coincidence?
Heres what happens. I start my car(barely, still havn't firgured that one out yet.) and it's very quiet. As it warms up the lifters get very noisy and stay that way until I drive it for about 5 miles and then they are quiet. Does this everytime I start it.
Are you using dino or synthetic? I have heard of people having noise problems as the oil undergoes a viscosity change, which would explain the quiet loud quiet problem.
