Hello all, Ive got this problem. My 90 model laser keeps showing a CES light. Turns out to be a TPS and a barometric pressure switch. On my pocketlogger the reading on the barometric pressure shows zero when to car is running. Also my car isnt surging up and down the rpm range like it did when the first TPS was bad in it. Oh and my car has a 92 model motor in it. I have switch the pins as nessecary and nothing has changed. I also have the 92 model
ECU and it is freshly rebuilt. I dont have another MAS to test, and im running out of ideas. This is my first DSM and it has been a long road getting this motor in, and its still stock. Any info would really help.....

Are you having any problems at all? I know you are getting the light, but have you experienced any problems? Any TPS problems I have had with a car, almost always cause a surge or a hunting problem. The car is still idling fine too. It does not always seem like it is in a choke mode?

Take care,

David
Well under boost my car seems to shutter alittle. The car was running fine when i brought it home from my shop. It boosted fine, no spitting or sputtering and now it just doenst seem right. The car isnt surging or hunting in the rpm range. I really need any info. Thanks anyone.

Well that almost sounds like a misfire to me. That could also cause a light. Have you checked plugs and wires just to make sure?

Take care,

David
Well it kinda sounded like it was back firing. Today when i went to tinker w/ the car i looked at the codes and it gave me a code for the Ignition Coil. This is the first time that its done that. But tomorrow after work ill check the plugs, wires, and i think i have an extra coil in storage. Thanks
