I did a had a JDM swap done but the thermostat my mechanic used has this extra hose that is right next to where the thermostat bolts up and there's no place for it to go. Right now we have tried to stop up the hose but it leaks coolant and I'm trying to get a permanent more reliable option.

It's supposed to go to the water cooled oil cooler. If it's a problem.. why not just use your old Tstat housing? Or just fill that one w/ Jbweld or epoxy.. that's what I did when I switched to the 90 air/oil cooler.
