I'm very familiar with the Drive train and powerplant of the car but this is the first Vr4 that I've owned so I'm learning a lot. My plans for this car is to clean it relatively stock looking. From the outside, I want it to look like a SLIGHTLY lowered, completely stock GVR4. I want to keep the stock wheels (again STOCK LOOKING) for daily driving but get a set of beefy track wheels. I plan on completely refreshing the drivetrain (engine, rear, trans, etc) but I am not going to turn this into a track only car. I want to enjoy driving this around on a semi-daily basis. I haven't decided what I am going to do for fuel management yet.So big guy, what are your plans for it? Any Ideas? From the picture posted that thing is CLEAN. And yeah you hit the sleeper nail on the head with this find. I hope it stays that color.
Casey, From my search the is what I've observed. They seem to go for around $4k, in clean (stock) condition. If the car has been modded in a bad way (i.e. the car is really beat up and abused, You can pick one up for around 2.5-3.5k (clean shell goes for around 1.5-2k). IF you have the money and want to buy a very clean and nicely modified one (like the one that currently for sale in the classifieds), they are out there and can fetch a very hefty price.gsxlex, what do you think of this one? is the asking price kind of on the spendy side?
