Searched on this and can't really find anything useful. I am setting up a turbo system on a NA shortblock. I need to run 6-8 pounds of boost and have been trying to think of a way to do it with the stock wastegate. Any ideas? It would seem you could manipulate a spring on the inside of the wategate actuator, but the part doesn't seem servicable and I don't even know what is in there.

Could I find a wastegate actuator from a different stock car that runs lower boost and use it? If this sounds like a good idea, can anyone think of other cars that have used to td-05 series turbo to run lower boost? Thanks everyone.

Run a vaccum line from the compressor housing or turbo outlet neck to the wastegate actuator.
Thats exactly what I did to control my boost for the couple days i was waiting on my MBC. Worked like a charm.
