It is a 91 TSI.

When I goose it or FLoor it all the way
It feels pretty good till 4 grand then I
just loose power. I just replaced the
fuel filter and put in new plugs and
some fuel injection cleaner. All of this
helped a little bit but it is still there.

There are no mods done to the vehicle.

How many miles do you have on it? I would check for boost leaks. What altitude are you running at? I have the BIG-T28 and it will only hold 15psi above 5k due to the 5,000ft alititude. That could also be your problem.

that happened to me, and last weekend I fixed it

I changed my plugs, turned out I had platinum in there So spend the $7 and go buy NGK normal copper and gap em at .28

Then, while at the autoshop buy those battery cleaner scraper things.

Take off both your positive and negative terminals and clean those puppies up good and shiney - sometimes the corrosion is hidden between the terminal and connection, so you may not see it from the outside.

Hopefully this will fix your problem as it fixed mine

Well I am in CA..
There is a 114K on the motor....
I will be installing a boost guage soon
to find out if I am losing boost.

Pull off the heat shield and check the exhaust manifold for fatal cracks. Could be dumping valuable heat through a nasty crack.

How would you fix the manifold leak? just tighten the bolts or what?

Also, norcalTSI - find out what altitude you are at.
