When you go into the machine shop tell them you need them to bore out the hole were the piston pin connects the rod and piston also the outer sides of the rod need to be cut thinner to clear inside the piston they should be able to measure the two pieces and tell you right away if they can do the job if they set there kind of confused just leave they will screw up the job!!! A good machinist can tell you right away if he can do it. Also it would be smart to put in ARP rod bolts while you are doing this the machine shop should also be set up to handle that no problem.
