I have it setup up like OEM with the canister and link but want to go to a manual setup.

Since if you hook a vacuum line directly from the actuator to the manifold, it'll be close till boost hits. Once it hits the valves open, now what If I put an inline MBC in that vacuum line and set it to 15psi?

Would this work? Since the MBC is only one way flow that wouldn't give the valves vacuum to close the runners would it?

Just a thought.

I'm an idiot, LOL. Been so long since I set my cyclone up and after looking at the diagram is needs vacuum to CLOSE the valves.

Now with a wastegate modified control a MBC would work.

It would work, but honestly stick with it being electronically controlled via ECMLink. You gain peak power and torque, and decrease spool up the best when you let it activate at 5500rpm. Myself, and MindBlowin03 have pretty good experience with this, and MindBlowin' himself has some back to back dyno pulls where it shows he gained the most tq(like 50awtq) letting it open at the proper RPM. I can't remember how long ago this was though. It was on an HX40 w/ a BEP .70 T3 housing.

Yeah I kept it how I've had it using link. 5500 RPMS!? Interesting, honestly never crossed my mind to let it open that late but definitely gonna test some things out now.
