- In 2006 the car dyno'd 323hp and 324tq on 93 octane pump gas and a conservative tune, which made me pretty happy. I ran a best of [email protected], my time begin held back by my crappy transmission and crappy driver.
- The car is already put away for the winter and getting ready for the 2007 season. Mods will include a PTE 57trim turbo, DSMLink, a rebuilt tranny, upgraded fuel lines and some other small items. I hope to have very respectable numbers on straight pump gas and to break some things on race gas;) .

Me to!!!!

Sweet ride!
Super clean, nice ride!
hey does that heat wrap around the manifold do much for you
I see you have the extended slave rod. Do you have problems with engagemant after installing it. Before i put mine in, i had trouble with disengagement. If i held
in the clutch and rev'd it up, the car would creep.

I put the rod on and the pedal feels much stronger, but the clutch is slipping now. Wtf...?

Makes a huge differance when standing in front of the car with the hood up. Actuall temps I have no idea about but I know its working.

No problems here. Did you re-adjust your clutch rod afterwards?
Love the red/black! Those rims actually look really good on your car.
Wow bro that is one Beautiful 1G. Good Work!
Looks great. Your car helps me get ideas for whats in the future for mine.

Another small update...

I removed the stock oil pressure gauge and installed my Autometer boost gauge in its place. Here are a few pics.

I want to do that with my wideband gauge..What did you use to cut the hole in the cluster?
Nice work, almost looks like it was supposed to come like that.
We used a 1 1/4" Hole saw. And then a sanding drum on the dremel to make it nice. Worked perfect. The only thing we noticed is that some guages are deeper than others which would cause a "little" trouble but with some smarts can be worked around. And for the dress up part of the cluster a sanding wheel on the dremel ever so carefully. There is alittle lip. Just remove the lip and its done.
^^ What he said. yellow90tsi also did this, and we dove into most of this at his house.

My PLX DM5 gauge is real thin. So i shouldn't have a problem fitting in there.

I'm going to do it this weekend. Thanks for the info.
very clean man, nice meeting you today. I never went this deep into the thread, thats why I didn't remember seeing the gauge in the stock cluster, but its sick. Nice work.
