Hey guys just a couple quickies. Does anyone here have a MOMO shifter knob? They are quite expensif, but I really like the looks and craftsman ship of them :)

And you know that black thing that directs the air into the intake behind the light?. I removed that cause it seemed the rivits wernt even ained at my exposed K&N (Having trouble hacking Air can, but I will get it soon hopefully). Will that do anything or should I leave it it?, thanks :)

i have acouple momo shift knobs. they arent bad but the do kind of mess up the shifter rod. they usually use 3 allen screws that tighten down on the shifter. everything else is pretty nice.
by hacking the air car you get more air going to your Turbo. you can hear the diff.

Really? Awesome!. Is having it exposed bad?

Im just having trouble getting it back in position. The damned thing is so hard to get back into the already crammed engine

having it exposed isnt bad. i should try to build a box around ur intake to cover all the heat under the hood so the intake sucks better colder air. or build a CAI thats only if u can or konw how.
So should I remove that black air diflector thingy?. Im going to try to hack my air can tonight. Damned thing wont fit back in. What did you guys use to cut it?
electric SAW!!!

Yes ...

I used an angle grinder with a cutoff wheel on mine.
Hmm i was going to do it tonight. I cant seem to find anything to cut the damn thing with  , Ill see what I can come up with. But I dont see how it makes that much of a difference compared to exposed....
If you don't have any of the formentioned tools, a dremel should work fine.Your not a man till you own a dremel.,The momo shift knobs are nice but damm, way to expensive.I had a APC shift knob(yup, thats right, the good stuff) and i cound'nt stand it.It never stayed on.Had to tighten at least once a week.It was still better then the horse cock 1g shift knob.I'm sure you won't run into the problem with the momo's.I just put a 2g leather wrapped oem shift knob and i wouldn't rade it for nuthing. It's night and day,i love it.
^^Horse cock shifter LOL :D

Well I found a jig saw...it didnt cut it  . Im thinking of torch cutting it, has anyone ever done that? I have a fabrication shop in my school and I could do it for sure there

BTW How do you remove rivits to get the big tube thing off
just grind em off.
