well, the title is kinda stupid, but here is the real deal. my car starts to knock as soon as boost starts to build in 2nd gear. i can feel the car holding back, im losing A LOT of power, i got no topend. i have access to a s-afc, but i dont want to tune it because i want to find out what is making my car knock in the first place, i mean it just doesn't start knocking outta nowhere does it? how do i post up my log form my palm pilot? im real close to fixing up this problem, and can't hold back my excitement, its been so long since the car has been running good and up to specs. thanks

It may or may not be due to the car's state of tune. Running overly lean or rich could trigger knock but it could also be noisy lifters or an old or over sensitive knock sensor.
