Need help on rear brakes

Can anyone help me?? Ive got a 90 RST 2wd and im having problems replaceing my rear pads. I cant get the parking brake cable disconnected from the rear caliper. Please help, i hate paying for crap

I guess you've got that small clip off and noticed the rest was rusted solid right? Been there. Douse it with WD-40. Chisel around the thing with a small flat head to clear some of the rust. Chisel in the U of the mounting part above the cable to clear some rust. Do lots of this then try sticking something to pry the U open more and break the rust seal. Then try sticking a screw driver on the metal end of the cable cover and hammer it back thru the hole. Repeat all these steps till it comes out. Also use as many swear words as you can and go into occasional rage fits including throwing tools and kicking tires... it helped for me.
