Ok,
This guy that I know has a couple of engines from 97 to 99 eclipse's, and none of them has over about 40,000 miles. He said that he would sell me the complete engines for $350.
My car is using a qt. of oil a week. I know that I probably need a head gasket, and I was going to replace it, but then I got to thinking, and I was like, man, I should just get it rebuilt.
I can probably get another guy I know that is very good, and does excellent work to do it all for about $700.
If I decide to reb. it later, then how do I remove the head b/c I myself will put it on.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
