I recently bought a whole bunch of parts for my 98 eclipse gsx and installed them this past tuesday. When installing the MAS back into my car it was dropped and 3 of the honeycombs were crushed. OUCH! The car idles so ruff that it barely stays running and sometimes dies. Is there anything I can do besides buying a new 2G MAS of Apexi S-AFC???
Thanks,
Ryan

Straws

Ryan,
that sucks.

I heard somebody online re-built honeycombs out of a bunch of straws glued to each other...

I know this might sound as an extreme solution,
but I seriously considered it when I had the same problem as you.

Do a search on google.com, maybe you can find a VFAQ about it and let us know!

Good luck

Yep, Walter is right.
I saw the pics of it online somewhere, but can't remember where.

Make a new honeycomb out of straws from Burger King.

It seemed pretty simple, easy and fast to do.

nice Idea...I'll make that for my 2g mas... I just put the HC from the stock mas but the holes are too small...without the HB I have to put idle to 1000...one question...what can I use to gle the straws???
