You can use a test light to find out what wire had the signal for the RPM's thats what I did. Good luck

which one did you tap into (wire color if possible plz)? did go go directly to the ECU connector or somewhere else?

OTher places to tap it?

Id much rather tap a wire that is in the engine bay, then try to stuff another thing through my steering column boot.. Couldnt I use one of the coil wires?

White wire on ignition power transistor is RPM signal.

There is also a diagnosis rpm signal connector located on the top of the firewall just to the right of the battery. It branches off the wiring harness. I can't describe it more than that. I found it while reading my Haynes manual.

Even better!, I didnt really want to vampire into the PWR TR unit...
Ill bust out my haynes and read the electrical diagrams like I should have in the first place.... This weekend Ill get it tapped and see how fun a 50shot is with 15psi is.
