Ok my set up is an ingen intake, rre uicp and greddy bov. After the valve blows off it does a whistle followed by a pinging noise? The pinging noise wasnt from the bov it seemed to have come from the intake or uicp i think? Any suggestions or info?

Try backing the set screw out on top of the Type-S a bit. This will help to rule out compressor surge.

Also, did you install the injen pipe at the same time or previoiusly?

well i tried adjusting it to its softest setting. It still sounds/feels the same. Ever since the install it seems like my performance is hindered and i dont like the sound at all. Sounds like squeeky brakes after i shift. I installed the ingen intake last week. Very good mod. Well i dunno im confused i'm thinking of selling it and getting a 1g bov.

Before getting rid of your parts try doing an intake leakdown test first to make sure you don't have a boost leak. I don't know why a boost leak would cause a 'ping' sound, but who knows. It's worth a try...
