go to ebay, type in 95 talon, go to parts and accessories, scroll through and you'll get some Ideas, good prices too if you can trust the seller.
Defineatly get some rims, whether oem or aftermarket if you are rocking the steelies. Then a drop. That should be good. You can also buy bumpers to make your car look like a later model talon or eclipse. If you are interested, do a search.
yeah man, it's alla bout ebay. Look for name brand stuff, usually if they have good feedback they are gonna end up being reliable, especially if they are listed as a "power seller". I got lots of my stuff off there, and man the quality was awesome (body kit). I do body work for a living, and I swear, almost every body part I've purchased off ebay was cheap and of just as good quality than the high dollar kits which I have also had (erebuni, which was believe it or not....garbage!....340$ Vs. 1100$) just be careful of performance parts (turbos, performance chips, etc...a lot of that stuff thats not name brand is total sh!t.
Yea dude ebay it out and then turn around and sell it. Then buy a TSI OR GSX.

the BEST advice on here.... put in some ricer parts, maybe an audio system and flip the car to make a few bucks, then buy something turbocharged with awd.... the esi's a dead-end in my opinion - might as well by a civic
Nice rims, drop it 2 inches tops,97-98 talon front or eclipse 2gb front, smoke out the back lights and thats it.You got yourself a nice lookin ride without the rice.

Heres what I did with my girlfriends 95 ESI.
Cold air intake, AEM bypass valve.
97 front and rear bumper.
tsi rims painteed black, with polished lip.
Carbon fiber hood.( not pictured)
painted rear center tail lights black, and letters red.
Alpine cd player, and some speakers.
I also have the 97 wing to put on, but I dont know if its going on yet.
Next thing I will do for her is buy and install some lowering springs, and exhuast.Than im done spending money on her car.
I dont know what else to do with it its just not worth it in my eyes.Especially after owning all turbo dsm's. She just likes the way it looks.

Good window tint goes a long way in cosmetics.

that is kind of a dumb comment. dead end. The 420a stock sucks, but what does a stock 7 bolt do, suck ass. The 420a is very simular design to the 4g63, you can buy forged pistons and rods for them, they are very east to boost, you can easily get 300-400 horses out of them, now as far as them being awd, you can do a 4g63 swap in a n/t car, you need the engine, crossmember, tranny, wiring and computer, axles, amd there you go, it is all bolt on. And the 2g's are a bolt on swap to make all wheel drive, so that is in no way a dead end car huh, it has just as much potential as a gst or gsx, depends on how much money you want to put in it.
if it's a direct swap why aren't there more gsx swapped spyders? it's a little more complex than just bolting some parts on and driving.

on a 2g... they are NOT a direct swap for motors. the 420a and 4g63 are NOT a "bolt on" swap. not even the motor mounts are the same. so much for bolt on! as for the AWD conversion... wrong there again. if i remember, RRE did a AWD swap to a spyder a few years back, said they'd never do it again. took a ton of custom fabrication and cost an arm & leg on the labor side. if you find supporting facts that prove otherwise, i'd love to hear it!

as for "sell it and buy a turbo" being the best advice on here... why do you even bother to post to his original question of what can he do to make his ride better. some people are not all about speed, some people cannot afford insurance on a turbo car. if your not helping him, don't reply.

check out what others are doing to their cars and see what you like. check out the 2g gallery and go from there. if you cannot find a part you see, ask the owner where they got it from. i'm sure *most* of them will help you out. Rims, tint, suspension all make a car look good. a clean looking muffler, without a huge 4-5" tip looks nice too IMO. maybe a simple audio system to fullfil your sound needs, and you should be happy for a while. sooner or later the speed bug may bite, but until then, enjoy what you've got!

Mindgame... the gf's got a nice looking car! glad she likes it.

later ~ kurt
