Check your battery connections to make sure they are securely tight on the posts. Sometimes when the connections are loose, the high voltage demand from the starter will make the starter just Click and not start the engine.g9s0x said:

I have a new starter, but sometimes it just clicks when I turn the ignition. However, if I rapidly turn it from "ACC" to "ON" several times, it will finally start and fire up the engine. Sometimes it will start on the first turn, although it takes a few seconds to crank the motor. It sounds like a starter relay issue to me, but what do you guys think? I would think if a ground was bad it wouldn't start at all, but I will go through all that when I check it out just to eliminate that possibility. Any suggestions before hand would be appreciated.
