I put a 91 stereo into my 92 AWD Talon and it powers up fine but there is no sound from the speakers. There is only 2 plugs in the car to plug in that I can see. Am I missing some wiring? what can be causing this? Is there a fuse anywhere or an amp?

Hey - did this get solved for you over the weekend ?

If you only switched out the headunit, and the Molex pinouts are the exact same, then you shouldn't have problems, if you just reconnected things in the center console.

If it's a system with a separate amp, make sure the amp turn on wire got reconnected.

I haven't really been focusing on the radio too much was aligning the timing belt first.

I got the car without a radio and got a radio from a 91 Talon, my old car, plugged it in to the 92 Talon and everything powers up but no speakers. Looks like the plugs are the same, I don't think the 92 had a stock amp.
