the stud/screw that is on the shock tower that secures the battery bracket down is broke on my 92 awd tsi. The previous owner must've broke the stud while trying to unbolt the nut that is screwed onto it. It is broke to the point where it is now flush with the frame of the car. how do you replace this? would i have to get a new one welded on or can i unbolt this and put a new one on. it looks like you can maybe access it if you went into the shock/strut area in the fender well. any other suggestions or fixes for this.
