With all the talk of white-faced gauge overlays, I was thinking of alternate methods to get a similar effect. I was wondering if I could swap out my black 2g gauge cluster for a 2g gauge cluster from a silver turbo 2g. I believe that all silver 2g's have silver-faced gauges stock. It would seem to be a direct swap. Has anyone ever done this? Any potential problems? Does anyone have any good pics of the silver faced gauges?

If you swapped the entire cluster you would be swapping odometers which would probably be illegal.

Other than that it should work just fine.

99 gsx/gsts came with white gauges or a very light shade of silver. I should check again sometime,lol .

Well, I am glad I asked. I don't know anyone with a silver 2g, but I was told that they all had silver gauges. Guess that person is an idiot!
