I have a 92 GVR-4 engine but the turbo reads TD04.....
i was under the assumption that the 14b reads TD05....

Can someone clear this up for me???
What turbo do I have???

The engine is probably from an automatic, they came with smaller 13g td04 turbos.

so how much smaller are we talking about??? T25 small??? smaller????

and if the 13g is smaller than the 14b, am I still pushing 190-195hp???

t25=265cfm
13g=350cfm
14b=405cfm

its inbetween, people have run some good times with them, it can be low 13's definately. I think it uses a different manifold then the 14b, anyone know. Someone was telling me they were upgrading to a 16g on their 1g auto and it didnt match up to the manifold. anyone have any input on that.

The manifolds are way different; the holes won't line up with a 14b. Your best bet if upgrading the turbo is to get a 95+ manifold and port it out along with the new turbo.

Or do like I did with my girlfriends talon and get a 95 manifold and port the 13g out as much as possible to match (if you're keeping the turbo).

The auto manifold is restrictive as hell though so I'd get rid of that before anything else.
