I'm a big fan of the sleeper look. Definatly was done right.

Thanks!
The spoilerless is definitely love or hate. In person the car looks so sleek without it. And it most definitely adds to the evil sleeper look.

On a 1g, its pure love for me.
I think it looks better with the holes and studs still sticking out of the car... :p
I simply cannot stand the 1g wings.

So I think yours all cleaned up looks great.
i love it.. im kinda shave the wing on my gst..i love the wingless look and your car shows it off well
Very nice, definitely a big fan of the sleeper look. My 92 TSI is staying the stock color (light blue) until i can afford to do a full color change. It has a set of black 5 stars from a dodge avenger, but shhh, dont tell anyone. Lol. Beautiful car, done right as well.
The FC rims look good. I like that black look. I am thinking of doing the Matte look on my 2g.
Dam Dana post some new pics and u better get it registered again so we can take a spin
Looks dope man, love sleepers.... Dig the flat paint, you could make the carbon flat as well, like the HKS track attack altezza a few years back... Looked like the meanest thing on wheels.
I like the look, real nice.

I have a '93 GSX with a decent paint job, but I could easily see doing this. In fact I have an '87 Grand National as well and I have been going through the thought in my mind of taking this route to do something totally different.

Nice job.

Can you exlpain more about the blacked out lights. What does that mean?
IF you look at the tail lights, they are darker than stock. I could have painted them darker, but I felt this shade would add to the almost stock look. I was really going for the most outrageous sleeper look I could come up with. As out there as I could get while making the car not stand out at all.

Got it, nice touch. what did you use to paint them.

While i've got your attention, you wouldn't know where I could get a 23 spline transfer case for a reasonable amount?
Hey Dana am I gonna get to take a spin in her tommorow or not? You better have it registered by now! And if you want we can do some drunken short throw shifter intalling....lol
very nice i like the sleeper detail right down to the ultra light but wide enough rims. i use to own fd rims. and then converted to a 4 lug car for a min and now that i am back on 5 lug dam i wish i kept them. IMO black is the best color for cars, but it show everything, with black matt you get the best of both worlds, and its very unique. i am thinking of doing the top half in black matt. it needs painting and i am broke. beauty of a car
Dana, did you fill the grill or is that a custom piece?

It's KnightRider Second Generation!! You should get a cd with the Knightrider clips of Kit talking and play them in your car. I think you achieved your goal of a noticable sleeper, black never goes out of style.
I would pay to see that happen! lol:p
Wow. I need to check this thread more. (subscribing). Like JP said, it's just a laser grill. But damn, doesn't it look nice. I'm actually planning on making a removable little custom grill with the Knight Rider LED and a CD with some KR sounds and clips to play in the car. Because that's how I roll. . . . fucking crazy.
