Well, my t-case locked up the rear wheels today. And I have heard (and used the search button) of the t-case recall, however I heard that it only applies to auto tranny cars now. Anyone know more on this? (Sorry, I can't wait a day [sunday] to call the dealer).

i dont know what you mean by "now" but, i had my transfer case recall done on my '93 gsx manual tranny less than a year ago.

I called crysler and they didn't say anything about auto or manual tranny so I guess it's ok. But I was nervous because I heard from a few people that the recall was recently limited to auto trannies only. Aslo if you go to the NHTSA website it lists the recall under "transmission: automatic"

the T-cases were ALL recalled. I had mine done on the 91 manual last month.

There is no time limit for any safety recall. And even if it has already been done, there is a lifetime guarantee on the new parts (for the t-case anyway).
