one of the first mods im doing to my talon. I just bought a boost controller today, and i was looking at the install directions. It tells me to bypass the stock boost controller, but the question i had is that there is a tube going from the stock boost controller to the intake, I was wondering if it holds any value or not because there is no nipple to contect it to the boost controller i just bought. Im going to install it somtime tonight so Ill repost if there are any problems.

You do not connect the line from the stock bcs to the new mbc...You just connect one line from the turbo compressor housing to the mbc, and the other line from the mbc to the wastegate actuator...The line from the bcs to the intake IS plugged
thanks for your help, thats actually what i did when installing. but i do have a question on what kind of performance i should be getting, my car is stock besides an aftermarket turbo gauge and that boost controller, and when all i can get for psi is 14, when the stock psi was 13, allthought i did see a small improvment in how quick the turbo spooled. should i be getting more than only 1 psi?, i turned the controller all the way up and thats all it gave me. I double checked to make sure i put it together correctly after talking to someone at driverside(a car store). he told me it was fine but still thought i should be getting more than that, and to just keep playing around with things. but if anyone knows if my results should be better, i would appreciate anyones input.

It might be on backwards.
