turbocharger actuater waste gate error!!???

Hi, I just bought a 99 Eclipse GST. It has an intake, turbo timer, blow-off valve, and a 3" exhaust on it (which has a slight leak). The problem I am experiencing feels like boost creep. The engine provides boost until it slips. On the way back from this guys house it slipped after I gave it some gas on the hwy. The check engine light came on so I took it to a mechanic. The computer told him it was a turbocharger actuater waste gate error. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks for your help.

What are you talking about when you say slipping?
Boost creep is when your boost goes above your desired amount.
Yeah, what do you mean by slipping? It sounds like boost creep since you have a 3" exhaust, and "wastegate error". But, not exactly sure.
by slipping, I mean, I hear the turbo spool up, then it pushes you back in your seat like it should, but then it slips. When it slips it feels as if someone just hit the brakes slightly (the engine stops giving power for a second).

Do your rpms go up at all, and then come back down with out the car speeding up? Like your clutch is slipping?

This sounds like fuel cut to me! Do you have any fuel management system to support your mods?
