turbonetics cracked

Hey guys i was going to buy a turbonetics manifold from slowboy untill i called them up and i guy that works there offered me one for 200 dollers. the only problem is that there is a hairline crack in the number 4 runner. but he had it proffesionally welded there at slowboy. I just want to know what are your guys experiences with these manifolds? He sent me pics and the welds look good. I wish i wasnt so computer stupid or i would post pics up but im not sure how to.
