im not shure if this is a good question or not
but
will the waterpump off of a 1990 eclipse gs fit on a 1990 eclipse Gsx?

If you're replacing you're pump;

Please tell me this is one of those, "the parts store only has the gs pump and cant the RIGHT one so I was gonna buy my new pump for a gs" type questions?

It will fit, but I'm not sure if there the "same" or not.

-also, where about's in wisc are ya??

it'll work if its the 2.0l. I dont think the 1.8l pump will work but I'm not positive.

All 2.0 water pumps are the same from 1990 to 1994. 2nd gens are little different. I won't buy used or reman water pumps. Go with brand new.

Avoid aftermarket water pumps. Go OEM or go home. I've learned that the hard way.

6 bolt water pump is a 6 bolt water pump. MD972052
