I have a 95 GS eclipse, when i first start my car i have a weird knocking noise coming from my passenger side of the engine. Once my car is warm it goes away. When its not warm the knocking is kinda loud.... i was just wondering what it could possibly be...almost sounds like a belt knocking..??

i had a weird knocking noise a few weeks ago like that..i wasn't sure what it was..so i took it to the dealer and they found out that my AC Compressor was falling apart..and to fix it it would cost like $1,300 to fix the AC and the AC Compressor Clutch..so I just said screw it and cut the AC Belt and now i don't have AC..dunon if this is what your car is doing or not..but that's what mine was doing when i heard a knocking noise.
