18 Male,couple tickets. Liability $109 a month. 96 GST.
are you on your own policy or someone else? what company you through? cuz i am 18 and through nationwide.
I know that this has been discussed before, but...

I pay $130/month ($800 every 6 months) for full coverage with a $500 deductible. I consider it to be pretty good seeing that I'm 18, which automatically makes me a horrible driver.

However, I've never had a ticket, and I'm still lumped into my parents insurance plan. 2 other cars, a boat, and house under the same policy help bring down my portion.

I think insurance drops when you turn 24 or 25, but I could be wrong.

Just be happy you dont live in MI---- No FAULT
I pay 1040 for 9 months for full coverage, theft etc. And and that includes a 2 millon dollar umbrella added just in case...so i think your gettin shafted man...
Just try calling around to different insurance companies for free quotes.

My insurance went down at 19, 21, 23, and will go down next year at 25. I also have no tickets, but had 1 accident (rolled my car by falling asleep) at 18.

Right now I pay $120 full coverage for my talon, and $50 liability for my blazer.

Also, take note that the city you live in plays a huge role in how much you pay. For the same 2 vehicles I was paying about $105 living in a smaller town, ie. it jumped $65/mo just by moving to a larger city.

110$/Month for my Cavalier
135$/Month Talon TSi Turbo
$81 a month liability.
I have zero credit and I'm 23.
1995 Talon Tsi
For the crappiest coverage on earth, with bumped medical.
Safe Auto... but I'm warning you... they suck dick.

What can I say? I've always paid cash for everything... including cars...
;) Um, no explanation necessary here...
And I rent to own.
I have one ticket on my record.
Noone counts it.
My only accident was more than 5 years ago, they CANT count it... lmfao...
Plus it was on my parents insurance. (They have a harder time pinning that on you, once you get your own.)
When I was on my parents I was paying $68 a month for full coverage $100 deductable on the Galant. Its a crock of shit. Insurance is a racket.

I have full coverage through progressive and I pay 174 a month. I have 2 speeding tickets on my record and I'm 27. Before I turned 25 I was with Allstate and I was paying 350 a month. Maybe the DUI had something to do with that. lol

from what I understand state farm is one of the best. When my speeding tickets falls off my record which is in march, I will switch. I already got a quote also, 100 bucks a month! woot woot!
I'm sixteen and paying around $1200 per year with the state farm steer clear discount and the good student discount. I drive a 1990 tsi awd.

Yah i agree about with the city thing, i live in Baltimore. Any one else from Baltimore?
18, full coverage through State Farm, $114.03 a month. '90 GSX.
$480 a year :) for liabilty only and no fire/theft. 1 accident while driving somene elses car and 2 pts haven't affected it at all :):) Not bad for northeast NJ :):):)
18 and 108 every 6 months for liabilty. yet i have a beater as my first car and on dads policy
I pay 247$ a month, through met life. 97 Gst, utah
i can tell you what min would be a month under my own insurance with my gst. 2600 every 6 months which works out to 433.33 a month thats liability, but since im still lumped with my parents it about 869 every 6 months so 144.
I have a question realting to insuracne that maybe you guys can help me with. Right now i have full coverage becuase Im still paying for my 96 Gs-t. Im paying about 5K a year because Im the primary driver of the vehicle and im 20 years old. I have no speeding tickets or what ever. Im with my parents insuracne, if Im taken off the insuracne it goes down to about 1K a year for full coverage. My question is if Im taken off the insurance and i get into an accident will the insurcane try to screw me over? I know the car would be insurced but i would not be in the policy. All i want is if my car is ever damaged and it could be covered under my full coverage insurance will I get screwd in their fine print documents and stuff like that? I really want to get out of the policy becasue 5K a year is like paying for a new Gs-T all over again. Hlep me out guys.

Go out on your own policy. Set it up with your insurance company to get the coverages you want. If you hold the policy, and are the primary driver, there really is no benefit to you staying on your parent's policy. I've had my own insurance since I was 16, I'm now 26.

**Edit**
$263 a YEAR!! Full coverage, 2nd vehicle, Married, 26, American Family.....hahahhahhahaha suckers.....
