Ok yesterday some buddies and I had a couple fun runs last night.. One thing that started to irritate me how my clutch woudnt hold.. When I launch my car about 2500 to 3000 my car starts to creep.. eventhough Im stepping on the clutch almost all the way.. The street we were on wasnt uneven or anything cuz when I put it into neutral my car wouldnt move....The only way to prevent my car from creeping is if I put my hand brake up then letting go when we start.. By the way I have centerforce df with about 30k.. This wasnt really that much of a big problem before but now its almost impossible having a decent launch without creeping.. Do I need a new clutch or is that how every 2g fwd is... any info would be greatly appreciated..

p.s. Got pulled over last night for street racing but luckily the cop was nice and gave me a warning.. be careful..

hmm sorry but im not sure what that means.. when Im driving around everything seems normal.. There are times when it takes twice to put it into gear butt that rarely happens..

Sounds like it could be that either your pedal postion needs adjusted a little bit or you could be a little low on fluid

how do you adjust the position of the clutch pedal.. I just put on a brand new clutch master cylinder and clutch fluid level is fine. thanks!

Adjust the clutch pedal to engage at the correct height and most likely your problem will be gone. The adjustment is done by threading the rod under the clutch pedal in or out and locking it down with the nut on the rod.

Problem fixed.. whew I was actually looking online for a new clutch (saved myself $350).. It was really easy to adjust the rod but it was just a lil hard to get to the rod because the clutch pedal was a lil bit in the way.. My clutch is actually holding now(halfway pressed in) at 5k rpm.. Just gotta get used to driving her again.. THANKS again guys!!! :D

Your clutch should be fully engaged just few inches off of the floor, I don't recall the specific technical reason or consequences but if your engaging too far up you're going to have some problems. Partcially because if you engage to far upward because of an adjusted engagement point then your clutch is never Fully dissengageing, the opposite problem you were haveing. Adjust it so it's fully engaged very close to the floor, thats where all DSM clutches are suppoes to be.

hey, i had a question, the nut on my slave cylinder the nut and some parts of the rod have been ruined by the previous owner, apparently he clamped it down and ruined some of the threads & the nut, if i were to change the whole slave cylinder does it come with the new rod and nut

tried adjusting it , either its too close to the floor when adjusted or if adjusted out a little bit feels like pressure gets built up in the pedal and it engages at the top, and the built up pressure makes the pedal spring back up very fast

thanks
