It sounds like you got a really good deal on the seat from the junk yard! As far as your car goes if its for race only I say strip it. If its for the street I personally believe it needs to be somewhat comfortable and reliable. Even with that said its to each their own. Not everyone's going to agree with what you do to your car. Just do what makes you happy with it.

I finally got my damn heater core and A/C system out. That was a major PITA. I got all the sound deadner out along with the rubber crap. I also cut out all the metal brackets for the rear seat, and the part that goes over the rear wheel well.

I'd still like to know why my car didn't have any sound deadner in the back...

Good work hurleypunk3269. Do you have any pics of the stuff you cut out of the back? How about some weights...? I am very curious to see how much the dang heater core weighs. Did you have to remove your dash? I am gonna take the heater core out of my car peice by peice. I dont wanna remove my dash because of the way my after market gauges are hooked up. Please let us know what that stuff weighs...thanks bro

I would rather my ride look nice inside.
So do most socker moms when it comes to their minivans. I don't think this thread's about you or your ride, though :) . Nice interior doesn't make the car go any faster or handle and brake better - which is, obviously, what GSXlaunch is after.

Thanks Tab, I needed a good laugh. Can less weight help the drivetrain parts last longer?

Anyways, the heater core probably weighs about 20lbs. I haven't weighed it yet. Just make sure you get all the freon out before you start removing the lines. Or you will end up like a buddy of mine and have that shit spewing everywhere...:D

I couldn't find big enough zip ties the evening I was doing my bumper delete, so I fabbed' up some peices of wood :p and used some screws and big washers to connect the front clip to the body. Suprisingly it works pretty damn good.
