Ive searched through the threads and have come up with nothing. My question is about the ground wire on the AVC-R (1st gen AVC-R)that taps into the ecu harness. I have my S-AFC ground wires already tapped into the ecu harness. The brown wire is closest to the ecu as the VFAQ states. I have tapped the AVC-R ground on the ecu harness with the S-AFC black wire.........will this cause any problems? Also, what is the purpose of tapping the brown AFC wire closer to the ecu than the black wire? Both are obviously grounds but does the AFC actually get any use out of this, and how?

well, if it hasn't caused a problem for you yet, then it's probably not going to. If you're eary about having the grounds together, there's more than one ground on the ecu plug harness. you can use another one.

Thanks for the replies.......Ive had the AVC-R in for a couple of weeks now with the ground tapped on the black S-AFC wire(soldered of course). No problems it seems..........this boost controller ROCKS!
