I received my pocketlogger program and cable yesterday and created the following logs. I would like to know what you guys think. Here is my mod list : T25 @15psi, 1g BOV, JoeP MBC, Injen Intake, Extreme Downpipe w/Hi-Flow Cat, Brode UICP, Magnecore Wires (I doubt this changes anything). I am considering geting a SAFC-II but I'm not sure if it is worth it?? Should I save my money for something else?? Just remember that I'm the guy that doesn't want to upgrade the catback. Thanks.

21 degs of timing is pretty good. You're logging TPS, which you should really be concerned about. Worry about RPM, Timing and O2 sensor. By the way, i use a pocketlogger too. I love it. I used to use a laptop with the Alex Pepar interface. It disconnected all the time. My pocket logger stays connected all the time.

So in your opinion....I'm probably not getting any knock? Can you tell if I am running rich or lean? I guess you would have to see the o2 voltage for that? Is there any reason for me to go with the SAFC-II? I plan on upgrading injectors, turbo, fuel pump at a later date (maybe a couple of months), but would I be able to squeeze any more power out of the car or would it be one of those necessary upgrades that I will need for later?

Log only O2 voltage, timing, and rpms. Also read up on increasing your sample rate on the pocketlogger site. Your sample rate is so slow that there are big gaps in the info.

Do a one gear pull from 2500 rpm to redline only and post that. Do third gear.

2gens can't read knock on the logger so i have no clue if you are or not. All i know is that 21 degrees is pretty good. On a 3rd gear pull, i dip to about 8 or 9 and then progress to about 20. Mine is also sampling at 11 S/sec. That's the most i could get. Don't forget to log your 02 volts. On a 2gen(like mine), .92 or less seems to be lean. Mine likes .935

Usually you use the datalogger to tune an AFC. I personally have the S-AFC. My buddy has the S-AFC II but i hate the navigation on a II model. It has a couple different features like more rpm points but i will stick with my S-AFC. I have a small 16g and still run the original 450cc injectors without any problems. I do have a 255lph fuel pump though. None of my rpm points are in the plus.

I see that my timing is getting pulled all over the place. :disappoin What do you guys think? Should I go ahead and order the S-AFC II??? :dunno: I also see that my o2 voltage seems to be dropping (leaning out?). Is this a fuel delivery problem or is the ECU not taking care of the adjustments. Any help would be appreciated. I am basically just looking for weather or not it is worth it for me to get the AFC? If I do get it I will definitely have tuning questions later :)

The only place you might be knocking is 6500+ range. There's no reason for you to be up there with your t25 anyway. The timing should fall down like that when the boost comes up and slowly rise up as yours does. DO NOT tune to a specific O2 voltage. If your timing is advancing like it is, then your obviously not running to lean. From your O2 numbers it looks like yours runs great at .9 or so. This means you probably have some room to lean out the midrange making you more power there. Either way, a SAFC will help you to make more power.

I noticed that right around 4300 and then again at 5400 rpm's it pulls the timing 1 degree. So you think I should go with the SAFC? I am guessing that I won't see much of a power increase but it will come in handy when I go for the injectors and turbo upgrade

1 degree up and down us usually caused by your airflow droping you into different timing maps. Timing being pulled looks more like what you see from 6800 on. That is probably knock. Up there your airflow is falling off and your timing should be going through the roof. With your boost set where it is, don't rev over 6000.
