Both 1990 AWD TSi's. Both 5speed, no sunroof, and both have grey cloth interior.

I bought the black car in January and the headgasket went 3 days later. I pulled the head to replace the gasket and discovered a cracked piston so I pulled the motor and built everything.

I bought the white car a couple months ago and 9hours later the timing belt slipped and took out all the intake valves. Luckily I head an extra head lying around. I threw that head on and left the dents in the pistons.

The previous owner assured me it is factory paint, I had trouble believing that as it is very shiny.

Here is a pi from a day after I bought the car, right after a wash and wax.

Wow that looks great for factory paint, sure faired better than mine lol. Very nice cars, now seeing your all black talon i cant decide on the paint for mine, black and silver or just solid black i thought i had made up my mind :rolleyes: . Both cars look great outside and in the engine bay though.

I too have a hard time believing it's factory paint. Can someone confrim the paint scheme thing?

As far as going to the track I went right after I put the car together. With the stock downpipe, 20psi, and pump gas I ran 13.3 @ 109. I only made two passes both bogging hardcore because I didnt want the car to break. Since my trip to the track I have done tons of tuning, installed the tmo chip with 2-step and got full 3'' exhaust. I still have yet to spray the car. Next time I go to the track I will be at 25-30psi with a 2-step launch and more agressive driving, Im estimating at least 120 traps and an 11 second timeslip. The stock cams are holding me back big time

I figured it had been painted because their are no badges on the car, as far as the awd badge on the side and it doesnt say talon on the back.

The video is with my fucked up clutch dissengagement problem. Car wouldnt shift to second so the video is from first to third, I didnt get back on it till the mustang was right on my bumper and of course the car lagged. The vid is also with the stock downpipe and no muffler, the car is MUCH quiter now ;)
