are either of you using a manual boost controller?
The reason i ask this is cause i am thinking that the mbc adds the extra vaccum pressure in there to help control boost. By leaving that open, am i not letting that vacuum pressure out. There for i will only run the boost the spring lets me run. Do i have this thought all wrong?

Yep Ric Gillis MBC the same as any other. Im not so sure there is another method and it was talked about a couple of weeks ago I remember buy I dont know I have 15psi set for my daily driven but it will spike to 18. Might this have something to do with what you are talking about I dont know but maybe?

I am being told my mbc is hooked up wrong. FP says the WG should have its own source at anypoint before the TB. Mines is Tee'd off behind the BOV which runs to the intake manifold. I am going to fix this tonight and see what happens. I have a nipple on my LICP that i am not using so i am going to run my MBC from there.

If this doesn't work, i will just go back to letting the gate control my boost and order the appropriate springs.

yeah i seen that yesterday....I hooked it up something like that, but right now i am not using th top port. Hopefully it doesn't rain so i will see what is going on. If that doesn't work i will try like this diagram says. I am starting to think i should just late the gate control my boost.
