Got em.

Love em.

Absolutely incredible braking that will not fade. Had someone who took a ride last week describe my car to a friend that it stops faster than it goes.

Having never installed big brakes before, it did take some test fitment to find the right combination of shims and such. But it's not TOO difficult.

The suspension is stock right this moment, but I am waiting for UPS to drop off my D2 Coilovers. So it won't be stock for long.

And you can order the brakes here: TCE Performance

And I had to get Enkei RP02-J wheels 18"x7.5" to clear the calipers. And that's with the BSL6 Narrow caliper.

Dam you people with money!! Very nice set up though :) Are you putting the coilovers on or having someone else do it?

Not sure where hes getting the car, but its being built by Matt Monet. He is really big into 3si's and has a shop. Apperently well known in the 3si circles.

Hats are actually black.

And I am going to put the coilovers in next week.

And the brakes weren't THAT much. $1400 is no where near what Stoptechs would cost. Bang for the buck, you cannot beat Wilwood/TCE.

And there are some 17"s that will clear the BSL6n, but not many. And the wheel I wanted, the RP02-j, wouldn't fit in 17". The problem is the thickness of the caliper and how close it gets to the spoke.

So 17s wont clear them? They must be a bigger version of the ones my friend had  becuase His will fit under 17s.
Big brake clearance depends on a lot of things, esp. the offset of your wheels. A 17x8 wheel with a good offset will probably clear - depending again on the size of the caliper, wheel shape, etc. :)

Actually a StopTech kit from RRE will set you back $1650, so it's not that much more (fronts only of course). But either kit will do just fine I'm sure.

just in case anyone didnt know. the easiest way to get factory rotors that are STUCK on is to use the little holes in the ceneter of the rotor between the lugs.

Im not sure what size screw fits in there, but ive always managed to find one in my pile'o'shit that fits.

thread the screw in, start tightening it down and the rotor will pretty easily free itself from the hub.

There should be 2 of those holes so you can free up both sides without any problem.
