This race happened a couple months ago, Im a newbie to Turbo DSM's, all my car had the moment was a upgraded muffler.

Pulled up to a black IS300 on the PW south, near exit 117, he starts pacing me, he's by himself, me and my boy are in my GST, race started around 65mph.

I started in third and pulled a hood on the IS300, as I shift into 4th at 6500rpm, he starts pulling away slightly, ends up beating me by 1 cl, suprised the hell out of me.

I didn't think they were that quick, espcially not on the highway, I saw an exhaust, he might of had something more.
 
There's a girl in my class who's mommy and daddy just bought her a 03 IS-300 and when I drove a couple weeks ago it did the quarter right around 95ish, and that was on a slight uphill road. It'll be a fun car toy around with once I get my talon back
 
Don't even bother racing with a t25, it just sucks up top. It' boring. It' got great low and mid but omg does the topend suck lol.

I remember driving on the highway and I saw a toyota celica coming up fast like way back, so I dumped my car in 3rd and WOT. He got on my side and I finally started to walk away...not fly away, walk...maybe more like a crawl, I wanted to cry. lol

I wouldn't shift that low. As far as the t25 goes, get rid of it lol. Buy a cheap 14b or something. Either that or get the 17psi actuator spring if you just can't get rid of the t25. BTW, i didn't know is300's were that fast... ;)
 
If your still runing stock bov that could be the problem...
My frend owns an IS300 w/intake & chip and i raced him a few weeks ago 2nd gear @40mph. By the end of 2nd gear i was about 1 1/2 cars in front of him. Plus I was runing low boost. (9psi- 10psi close to red line) IS300 are slow.. The only thing is get rid of t25 by the time your @ 6k RPM you turbo is maxed out basicly.
 
To my knowlege a small 16g won't drop off before redline
