Ok, my car is a mutt in many ways, in the case the brakes. The previous owner removed abs, but left the sensor and ring on the hub. I bought 92+ calipers, and the rotors I have are very rusted due to my car sitting for 2-3 years. I didn't spend much time on it, but I couldn't figure out how to get the rings off the hub, the sensors were easy. So unless the rings are easy to take off, easy being able to remove them with the hub on the car, I am just going to leave them there. If I leave them I have to get ABS rotors, if they are easily romovable and I do so, I can get non-abs, correct? How tough is it to take the ribbed rings off?

There's two ways to remove the ribbed ABS ring that I know of. You could cut it off, or you could remove the hub and unbolt it.

The only difference with ABS rotors is the two extra holes in the hat to fit over the two little bolts that hold the ABS ring on the hub.

Let me know how it goes, I removed the ABS from my car and I might try to remove the ABS rings sometime.
