After a lot of searching through pictures and trying to see if anyone put there gauges in the arm rest I couldn't find any. Well, yesterday I was bored and I just ordered a new oil pressure gauge so I needed another space. My buddy who works at tweeter (car audio install) helped me out with it. Pretty clean if you ask me. It's also well hidden for the sleeper look and to keep it away from potential theifs. It houses my EGT, A/F, SAFC II, and the switch to my IC sprayer. We are thinking about making a bunch of these and selling them for 25 bucks or so. I was wondering if there was any intrest in them.

Very clean setup up. But I know myself I use my center console way to much so I couldnt give it up.

Thanks. I never use it, so I figure I may as well put it to good use. I was pleased with how clean it came out. I am also trying to attempt a bezel for a maft box and a datalogger cable.

Props for the clean install, but what good is it to have the gauges where you can't see them when driving? It's great for the afc, and maybe a turbo timer / boost controller, but the gauges would be hard to view.

Thanks for the props. I thought about that too, but it was just something I decided to do I guess. The A/F gauge is completely useless anyways, and I didn't feel like selling it so i shoved it in there. The EGT may be a different story, but I guess I will have to see how this works out.

I would put a oil pressure gauge there instead of the EGT, egt is something you want in easy viewing so when your into it you dont take your eyes so far off the road.

I am leaving the oil pressure where I can see it. To me, it's more important. I am running an almost stock car, the gauges are just there for preperation for a new setup.

Looks good. Where did you get the plastic?
A buddy of mine works for Tweeter (car/home audo shop) in their car installation department. He just had an extra sheet of it lying around and hooked it up. It is 1/4 ABS plastic, FYI.

Looks good, but I am sure it will be a b*tch to keep turning your head all of the time to adjust the afc or check the EGT temps...It seems like an accident waiting to happen...you do a long pull and go to check out the egt gauge and BOOOOOOMMMMM!!..18-wheeler right in your face....
Ok sorry for the dramatization but the custom install does look good and it is really original...Hey, maybe it'll catch on ;)

Well, the afc has about 6 feet of harness left, so when i am tuning it wont be hard to pull out. I can also spin it 180 to face the passenger that I will have when I am tuning, so he can look at it. I pretty much have that part covered, thanks for the concern though :p
