We all know that you love your car, and that is great. Just don't get all stressed out and take everything so seriously. Nick
I know Nick, and I am not getting stressed, I just get tired of the children you know? Thanks for the words man.

Peace out.

"Yea SPOOM I have seen your trolling techniques as well, don't you post as "SPOOGE" at ClubSI where you are the head troll?"

Yeah...I "troll" on that board to, under the same nickname (SPOOM). However, since SPOOGE and SPOOM mean essentially the same thing, feel free to refer to me as either pseudonym. I believe the head troll at Club Si is Rick King, followed closely by RALPH N NY.

I've seen examples of your work on several boards. Tell me my memory is inaccurate or if I'm missing some (very likely):

the Club Si site
the Altima site
the 3g Eclipse site
the ZX2 site
this site

Please correct me if I am mistaken. I DO recall that you have been involved in some pretty "lively" threads...

SPOOM/SPOOGE/SPLOOGE

You got all of those correst SPOOM Man. Although I DO NOT consider myself a "troll". I like to liven things up with controversy from time to time. Notice that I never call a person a name unless they start with it.

I was banned from ClubSI because the children could not keep up with my banter. I was also banned from Altimas.net because the owner is a ***. But I am back on and he thinks I am someone else and he talks to me every day. Did you know he is a pool boy who goes to Catholic school? Anyway, I will be off all of the boards in about four weeks. In the summer I race ocean sailboats and will be away from a computer for quite a while. Yes, I know you are crushed!

You can give me an shit you want just don't be surprised when you get it back and then some.

I am also on SHOforum as well. Oh and I have toned it down quite a bit since I first started posting, don't you agree?

The SHO forums!!!! I knew that I had missed one!!!!

I take anything I read on message boards personally, I just like to read the threads that tend to incite people for Springer-esque entertainment...Usually I don't post anything myself, but occassionally I'll comment or ask a question about something relevant.

Be careful out on the oceans...you saw what happened to Tom Hanks...talking to volleyballs and eating liquified crab "meat"...scary shit!!! :)

CJ- No offense, but stirring up "shit" as you say is not tolerated here, and will get you removed very quickly. DSMtalk prides itself in the accepetance of everyone, and promotes a friendly enviorment where everyone is welcome to discuss any type of car they want.

All groups are welcome, and as long as the discussion remains constructive, and respectful.

Good to see this thread made to it the clear.

1g Crank walk

I sure hope that you don't fall victim to "crank walk" while you're showing off.

"

Did anyone else catch this on the 3G whatever message board??

I mean I'm no DSM genius, but this guy was referring to a 1G. Crankwalk??? I think not. Shows how much he knows. I wish that I could post on that thread."

Umm I don't mean to come here and sound like a total jerk - but by reading your own Help! Forum,it's clear that atleast three of your own 1g owners are in fact suffering from probable crank walk, not that I'd wish that on anyone.

Hey, if you'll follow my threads on the help forum, you'd think that my car has 2 cylinders out of 4, a blown headgasket, loose engine mounts, crankwalk etc. I simply assume that those things happened for one reason or another and cry for help at the first available opportunity... Neither one of the abovementioned problems turned out to be true, in fact they all turned out to be something else, so as you can see, reading the Help! section to learn about common dsm problems isn't a good idea. And no, there was never a 1G car with crankwalk, unless it had a newer engine put into it. Take everything you read with the grain of salt, especially the kill section :)

Peace,
Nitrox

My friend has a 2001 Eclipse GT highly modded. I mean everything they make for the car except the turbocharger. his best time is a 15.3 on pos factory tires. But, we bought a 91 Talon Tsi from a guy who didn't take good care of it. It had a blown headgasket, busted radiator, bad thermostat and screwed body work. We got the car for $900 and I cranked the car and drove it home smoke and all. On the way home we raced the Talon and the 3G. I walked away from him like he was a pinto not a 3G.

Ok so now that this thread has died down, lets start a new one.... "1G vs 2G: which ones better"

j/k :D

One around here v6 , tiptronic, greddy exhaust, injen intake and eibach springs
did 17.5s
my girlfriend raced her 92 talon awd against it all it has is a k&n no hacked air box no free mods etc(she isn't best driver) still managed a 15.8

C'mon the 3g will never be a performance car. Its a great, reliable, good looking sporty car, but its not something that should be compared to a turbocharged DSM. Its a cookie cutter more to the point. An SOHC 3.0L V6 engine....thats a cookie cutter engine from a Galant and Montero and has been shuffled around for years in the Mitsu lineup. Enjoy the top down, enjoy the reliability, but don't come on this board talking about how a 3g is going to walk all over a 1g or 2g Turbo. Its not going to happen. And if it did, someone had their 4G63 in neutral :D
