at least one of my motor mounts is no good, and i want to replace them, but im not sure if i should get stock ones or aftermarket motor mounts? what does everyone else have on their car and what do u think of them?

Get the urethane. They don't cost much, and if you are FWD, they halp wheel hop. Also they look nice.

Is there a certain brand i should get? or are they mostly all the same, I do not want to have to do anything twice.

I bought prothane mounts from prostreet online. The only other ones I know of are made by Energy Suspension (I think). Honestly, I bought the prothanes over the ES because they are red. Its the only difference I noticed, although I don't know how much the ES mounts are.

I just bought Energy Suspension ones. You say the only difference you know of is the color, so i got the red ones.

I have Prothane in my FWD and man does it make a huge difference. No wheel hop and the throttle response is alot better.

I have the Energy Suspension front and rear inserts (>$30). The engine is pretty solid in place.

When shifting, there's only front to back movement of the car. I didn't feel the need to replace mounts on the sides of the motor.

I love my Prothane mounts and I would not buy anything else. Those things are as stiff as a board, and a must have if you have FWD. I have AWD and it is RETARTED the way the car responds.

buscher is making solid poly mounts for the front and rear mount 1g and 2g. i saw a vendors ad on tooners a week or so ago about it.
not sure if its up on his site yet, but he's definatly taking orders through his forums.
that would be nice to have all 4 mounts solid poly. to hell with inserts.

does my link above look like a full replacement of mounts? anyone purchased this one. I think they are "true" prothanes
