Ok I Bought My Car About 3 Months Ago..ever Since I Bought It I Was Driving It Home Got About 5 Miles In It And It Shut Off..had To Set There About Hour And Then It Started Back Up And Only Went About A Mile And It Did It Again...when It Does It Will Start Missing Real Bad And All My Gauges With Go Wild Jumping Up And Down Then It Will Shut....ive Put 3 Coil Packs And 2 Ecu In It And Still Does The Same Thing...it Will Run For About 45 Min Idleing Then Shut Off..please Help

I would start with the basics: plugs, wires, compression test, and boost leak test. Is it a turbo? Check your timing, and reset your BISS (base idle set screw). Is the car stock? Which gauges "jump around", are they stock or aftermarket. Check your oil and coolant level; and look for contaminants. Let us know what you find and we will try to help more.

Also you don't have to capitalize every word, that makes your post hard to read, and you'll get less help because of that. Proper sentence structure helps as well.

non turbo..everthing is stock..the tech speed batt guages are the ones that jump ive check the plugs and wires...someone told me it could be the fuel pump. had a compression test last week and it was ok..

Have you tried a new or different transistor pack? I had a CEL in my 90 and all it says is "Ignition Coil" which could be the coil pack or the transistor pack. In my case it ended up being the transistor pack. Just another thing you could try to eliminate that CEL all together.

the code come back as the coil pack..i have put 3 on it already...the temp gauge dont even get close to halfway so i dont think its overheating
It may not be overheating at the sending unit. But, if it's not coming even "close" to halfway, that IS a problem ie thermostat or coolant temp sensor.

Yes, it will cause problems like that (shutting off, takes a while first time, then quicker and quicker it will shut off).

It would be good preventative maintenance to at least check out the cooling system and maybe replace the thermo (cheap & easy) just because you're not 100 percent sure. Not bad idea to check compression either. But usually there are more obv signs of a coolant issue. For now I think it is safe to assume it isn't the cooling system at fault, but that it is a problem.
