I was out cruising town the other night by myself. I came up to a stoplight, and I was the only one there for a few seconds, then I hear another car pull up beside me. I look to my left, and there were two asian kids in a 3rd gen Eclipse. I waited for the light to turn green and, I took off as I normally would during heavy traffic. The driver of the other Eclipse took off, and I dropped the hammer when my front end was at the rear of his passenger side door. It didn't take me long to get ahead of him, and the kid was jerking the car quite a bit, so either he just started learning how to drive stick shift, or he just sucked at driving his car altogether LOL. We got up to about 90 mph, before we shut it down for the next red light. But anyway, nothing really special, just glad to get my first kill for this summer.

Are the 3rd gens even that fast cuz I haven't heard of anyone running good times with those.

My Spyder which has the 4G64 (2.4L N/A I4) isn't that fast, so obviously the 3rd gen Eclipse isn't that fast either.

Nice kill, if I were them I'd take advantage of that .4l displacement and turbo the sh*t out of it.

Obviously it was a 4 cylinder eclipse, probably a GS. If it were the 6 cylinder gt, or gts trim, you would probably get spanked.

yea, the GT's arent up to par with the Turbo 1G and 2G's but they are far superior to the NT's. You prolly raced one of the 4cyls. In which case they have the same motor as you actually.
