I have been calling all sorts of resources to figure this out but no luck. My check engine light will not come on at all. I checked the bulb and it's good. I read the codes that the ecu is putting out and it's not for a bad ecu (TPS, fuel pump, and baro). I am in south riverside but the car is registered in Humboldt county, this means I only have to get it smogged this once and thats it! Anyone with some advice or maybe an ecu I could try in it please help.
No CEL! Can't pass smog!

is the CEL light wire plugged into ur ECU?

I have come to the conclusion it's my ECU. I did get it to pass smog though. I hooked up a wire between the ABS and CEL so that it would test like normal. Now I can go back to driving like a jerk and not worry about getting my car impounded.
